Hike 1

Strawberry Hill

An easy quarter- mile loop (with a bonus .25 summit AND waterfall) that shows off San Francisco’s biggest -- and oldest -- green space. Park at the Stow Lake Boathouse and head towards the stone bridge. The bridges connect to a man-made island called Strawberry Hill, in the middle of Stow Lake. Hike around the hill, then follow the stairs or trail up to the top. Take in 360-degree views of the park and the City. Make sure to look at the tops of the trees, you just might see a nest of baby owls.Length .25 miles - 2 milesTrail (link to AllTrails: Strawberry Hill/Stow Lake)Dog-Friendly: yes
